At Fan Expo Chicago 2025, I had the chance to meet Jennifer Beals, who plays Garsa Fwip, the Twi’lek cantina owner in The Book of Boba Fett, where Max Rebo performs.
She was so kind — and I couldn’t believe she complimented me on my hair! I was cosplaying as young Leia with my braids up, and it was such a special moment to share. I also showed her photos of my Hera Syndulla Twi’lek cosplay from Star Wars Rebels.
I love attending comic cons like Fan Expo where I get to meet Star Wars actors and others for different movies. From the Boba Fett series alone, I’ve already met Temuera Morrison (Boba Fett) and Ming-Na Wen (Fennec Shand) — and now Jennifer Beals!
