Balathu, known as "The Big Teeth," was a slave with a large and strong physique. Over time, he became increasingly fierce and dangerous due to his fights. His appearance grew more menacing, and his body became larger and stronger. The scars from punishments became more pronounced, and eventually, all he did was kill and eat. Many slaves fell victim to him. However, a beast like him could not be executed casually. Rome was always the best place for someone like him.
Balathu usually did not face opponents as strong and cruel as the monsters he knew. He was often used for executing prisoners or as a special attraction in gladiator shows. His madness and tendency to bite opponents were highlights that people most wanted to see. After the show, he was captured like an animal, put in a cage, and taken away.
