Testing out the drag losses of the Factor 55 Retention pulley vs a traditional snatch block on a real world load test. All 4 tires locked up dragging my truck on concrete. The oil bubble in the gauge made it a tad difficult to see pressure so I had to zoom in and review the video for the final calculations. As far as calculations go i feel everything is fairly consistent with the results and i had similar results the day before doing initial tests.
One thing is heat wont be the failure point. i know a lot of people have discussed the heat being generated by these but i did not find that to be an issue.
I will say the clevis pin to D ring fitment wasn’t the best, but with 1” pins and the forces involved I took the risk since the pin did go all the way through the clevis, just couldn’t put the safety pin in.
