Learn how to make your own socks WITHOUT a middle seam!
I had a few comments on my last video wondering if the seam down the middle was uncomfortable. Well, I didn't find it to be at all uncomfortable BUT I think that it's a little bit ugly (unless you were using a dark fabric!)

So this method shows you how to make socks with side seams rather than middle seams.
It takes longer, but if you want socks which are more than purely functional, then you might want to give this method a go!
You can still use an old t-shirt for this, or any other stretchy fabric.
You will need:
A sewing machine
Stretchy fabric
Pins
Thread
Scissors
Thin elastic
A safety pin
