Delaware is a city in the county seat of Delaware County, Ohio. Delaware was founded in 1808 and was incorporated in 1816. Delaware is the location of Ohio Wesleyan University, a liberal arts college that was founded by Methodists in 1842. Delaware is an Ohio Magazine Best Hometown and a top 50 Best Places to live in America. The downtown has a lot of energy with unique shops and dining. It's history is written on many of the downtown buildings showing historical photos and plaques. It is a beautiful city, and the college is extremely impressive. I really enjoyed my visit I wish I could have had more time to explore, there was so much to see.
