During her conversation with Damon , his mother Lillian, can't restrain herself and expresses her point of view regarding Damon and Bonnie's "relationship".

Lily S. remarks to Damon that there is not just a bond of friendship between him and the witch.

Although Damon tries not to pay much attention to his mother's remark , he can't stop himself of thinking about all the moments passed with Bonnie.

He tries to annoy Bonnie, in order to restore the old "cat & mouse fight", but the more they try, the more they realize the feelings, they wanted to hide.

Unbeknowst to Damon , Bonnie undergoes the same inner questioning.

For both of them, it has become painful to see each other flirting with someone else.

Afraid of her growing attachment for Damon ,Bonnie decides to leave town.
When Kai tells him she left, Damon is surprised but relieved that she did not fall for the warlock.

Bonnie & Damon, tried to minimize a brief "event", that occured while captive. Though their denial, it iniated emotions, which with time continued evolving into much more.

Afterwards, Damon learns from Enzo that Bonnie packed and did leave Mystic Falls for real, he is devasted.

Damon is saddened as he did not realize that at her last visite she was tellin him goodbye.

Stefan tries to cheers is brother up, but Damon can only think about Bonnie.

Damon & Bonnie, each keep finding signs, reminding them of each other. Their feelings become stronger , and both understand that it wont go away.

Much to Damon 's joy, Bonnie decided to return... to him.
