Did you know that the mountain (or lap) dulcimer is one of the few instruments that are seen by music historians as being invented in the United States?
You'll get to hear this beautiful instrument and learn all about it from Erin Mae, a music teacher from Wichita, Kansas. She'll tell you about it's humble beginnings, how it's often played with a feather and much more! The two songs she plays in the video are "Soldier’s Joy" and "Wildwood Flower".
