Shastri Sisters On Location Shoot | 17 February 2015 | Part 1

Shastri Sisters is a story which revolves around 4 sisters; Alka(Neha Pednekar), Anushka(Ishita Ganguly), Devyani(Sonal Vengurlekar) and Peeya(Pragati Chourasiya). This story takes beautiful twists and turns as these four sisters adjust to their new life in Delhi. The family has moved from Kanpur to Delhi due to their father, Narayan Shastri's(Rajesh Jais) job transfer. The Shastri sisters have lost their mother at a very young age and since then Anushka has been a motherly figure to the rest of them.

The family stays in a house owned by Narayan Shastri's old friend Surender Sareen(Gireesh Sahedev). Sareen family has Surender Sareen living with his wife Minti(Neelu Kohli) and their sons Rajat(Vijayendra Kumeria) and Neil(Sumit Bhardwaj). Although Sareen sees the four sisters as his own daughters, Minti dislikes the Shastri sisters from the day she meets them.

Due to a series of misunderstandings, Neil is not initially fond of the Shastri sisters. But later he develops feelings for Devyani. Alka had a boyfriend named Rajiv while in Kanpur, but obeying her father, she gets married to Rohan(Sujay Reu). Although it has taken a bit of time to adjust, she has happily accepted Rohan as her husband. Rajat, who is a Squadron leader, falls for Anushka, but Devyani falls for Rajat creating a love triangle in the story. For her sister's happiness, Anushka sacrifices her love initially. She asks Rajat to marry Devyani making him to swear on their love.
