In this video, I travel from Jeddah to Medina, Saudi Arabia to explore Islam's second holiest city. As a Muslim, I was curious to find out what it's like to visit Medina (also spelled Medina or Madinah), a place many travelers never get to see. After taking a bus trip from Jeddah I visit an interesting date market, explore the world's largest Quran printing factory, and walk around the main area near the Prophet's Mosque - the heart of Medina. Although Muslims are allowed inside the mosque, I was still able to see the spiritual atmosphere that makes Medina such a special place.
