The University of The Bahamas Mingoes played a highly defensive game on Wednesday night against Renegfades FC defeating them 2-1.
Captain Ronaldo Green said his team had a decent start.
"We had a few shocking moments with one leading to their equalizer goal. Thanks to our captain's goal it sealed the team's victory," Green said.
Sidney Decius socred in the 39th minute of the first half. Renegades FC then equalized it in injury time to make it 1-1. In a last minute effort captain Ronaldo Green scored with a free kick to secure the 2-1 win for UB Mingoes.
