President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump attended the Kennedy Center for the Musical Les Misérables on Wednesday night, June 11. The 55-year-old First Lady chose a long black Bottega Veneta dress with two large gold buckles. She completed the look with silver and gold Christian Louboutin pumps.

The President and First Lady left the White House hand in hand and posed for the cameras together on the red carpet at the Kennedy Center. The two were also greeted by the crowd in the auditorium.

Donald Trump has previously spoken many times about his love for the play Les Miserables, and he chose the same play for his first appearance at the Kennedy Center after becoming president. Wednesday night's performance was the first performance of the new season of the musical, which has been staged at the Kennedy Center since 1986.
