Replacing the window weather stripping, get rid of air leaks and noise from gaps or deformed weather stripping. This video shows the front driver door and needed part. The driver and passenger doors use different part numbers due to how they fit the door.
In this video was able to use soap to seat the new stripping, but if you have rust or excessive dirt it may bind up requiring window glass removal to place the new stripping into position.
Driver door weatherstripping part # 88974658 bought July 2013, with shipping, cost $85 U.S.
