After my scooter crash in Kalkudah, I decided to head down to Batticaloa. A city on Sri Lanka's East Coast that's RARELY visited by tourists. It's a city that is still thriving on infrastructure from the British and Duch colonial eras.
I checked into SEETHEVI HOTELS (highly recommend them!) and bumped into Paul Anthony who took me on a Tuk Tuk ride to his remote village. Despite being on the coast... they've NEVER seen a tourist; only foreign aid in 2005 who helped out for a few months in the wake of tsunami disaster.
