This engine belonged to a man called Jimmy Furey he was a boatbuilder on Lough Ree and known for building a boat called a Shannon one you can see him at work here • Hands Shannon One Design Part 1 , I based the stand on bits I had seen of the Shannon one and this engine will now go to his apprentice as a little reminder of him.
