Wakalat Street, a beautiful pedestrianized street located in Sweifieh, southwest of the capital, Amman. It contains many cafes, restaurants and boutiques. In the summer, many artists and amateurs practice mini youth parties there, where folk dances, folk music and other artistic participations are held. It is noteworthy that the official name of the street is (Salem Al-Qudah Street). Although it is a relatively new street or neighborhood, it has proven its presence in Jordan remarkably, and all those coming to the capital Amman must go to Wakalat Street, especially after it is paved and designated only for pedestrians.
