《韓民族新聞》 誕生於1987年的南韓民主運動，是由憧憬真正獨立報導的記者所辦的獨立報章。在90年代便加入該報的李逢鉉，目睹它一路的成長。現時，《韓民族新聞》是南韓最受歡迎的報章之一，以報導自由、民主為原則，為讀者提供不偏不倚的報導。從《路透社》涉足國際新聞及於倫敦大學Goldsmith College修畢傳理博士之後，李博士重返《韓民族新聞》，出任韓民族新聞經濟研究院研究委員，除撰寫專題報導外，更進行有關經濟新聞、政策及傳媒的研究。

Having joined the Hankyoreh -- an independent newspaper founded by citizen journalists -- in its inceptive stage, Dr LEE Bonghyun has witnessed how the paper grew with the public's aspiration for democracy. Decisively committed to journalistic freedom, the Hankyoreh is now a most popular newspaper in South Korea and provides fair coverage and fresh perspectives to its readers everyday. After immersing with international journalism at Reuters and obtaining a PhD in Media and Communications from Goldsmith College, the University of London, Dr LEE returned to the Hankyoreh and started working for the Hankyoreh Economic Research Institute, making a difference not only with in-depth stories but also with research on economic journalism, policy and the media industry.
