It's been 32 years since the original recording. It was originally only available on CD, but now with this new Remaster, it can be heard on all the audio streaming sites. It's my very first album and loaded with great musicians and arrangements. This song, Blue Birdland, written by Jimmy Giuffre, was the opening and closing theme for Maynard Ferguson for decades and closes our album.
