🛒 Ingredients ✍️

For Chicken Marinade.

Chicken .... 1 KG
Dahi (Yogurt) 4 tbs Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
red chili powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric ..Haldi – 1/4 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Salt – to taste


For Gravy:

Butter – 1 tbsp
Cooking oil – 3 tbsp
Onion __ 2 medium
Tomatoes – 2medium (roughly chopped)
Garlic – half tsp
Ginger – half tsp
Green chili – 1 (optional)
Cashews – 10-12
red chili powder – 1 tsp (for color)
Salt – to taste
cream – 3–4 tbsp
Garam masala – 1/4 tsp

🔥 Step-by-Step Method


Marinate the Chicken

Mix all marinade ingredients and coat the chicken well.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (overnight is best).

Cook the chicken

Heat a pan/tawa or oven. Cook chicken till golden and slightly charred.
Keep it juicy – don’t overcook. Set aside.

Gravy ..
In a pan, heat 3 tbsp oil + 1 tbsp butter.
Add chopped onion tomatoes, garlic, ginger, green chili, cashews.
Add some salt and red chili powder.
Cook until oil separates.
Cool it down and blend into a smooth puree strain for extra smoothness

Finish the Gravy
In another pan, heat 2 tbsp butter.
Add the puree.
Cook for 5-7 mins on medium flame.
Add cooked chicken pieces.
Add cream and mix well.
Simmer for 5 minutes till flavors combine beautifully.
Garnish & Serve
Garnish with a swirl of cream, butter, and coriander (optional).
Serve with naan or roti
