Overlanding Through the UAE Desert | Camping, Dune Bashing & Good Times

There’s something about the open desert… the way the silence speaks louder than the noise of the city. This trip was all about adventure, family, and reconnecting with nature under the vast desert sky.

We packed up our rigs and headed deep into Margham Desert, where the stars and moon put on a breathtaking show. Friends joined in, campfires crackled, and stories were shared. The next morning, we set out to catch a glimpse of hot air balloons, but they were too far on the horizon. No worries—there was more adventure ahead.

From there, we made our way to Badayer Desert, meeting up with friends traversing from Al Shuwaib. While waiting near Super Bowl, we watched dune riders carving their way through the sand like a live motorsports event. The kids kept busy, collecting little treasures buried in the dunes.

But the desert calls for more than just sitting around. We pushed deeper into the sand, exploring new routes while waiting for our convoy to arrive. Finally, at Super Bowl, we reunited with friends and set off towards Iftar Bowl, where the real fun began—dune bashing, convoy runs, and endless laughter.

This is overlanding. This is adventure. This is the story.
