Wet, Rugged… and absolutely SPECTACULAR! | Backpacking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path (ep. 5)

In September 2025, Otto and I set off on another National Trail. After hiking quite a bit in England and Scotland earlier this year, it was time to explore Wales — specifically the 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
Come join us for Days 12 to 14, when we entered the remote northern section of the trail, hiking from St Davids to Fishguard. The terrain became much more challenging with plenty of elevation gain. Instead of sandy beaches like before, we had rugged cliffs, hidden coves and saw lots of seals.
Once again, the wet weather kept us on our toes and I struggled to find a good spot to wild camp.
Not our easiest days by any means, but absolutely worth it for what turned out to be my favourite stretch yet.
