On the last episode we ripped out a whole ton of rusted riddle metal from this 1957 GMC Stepside. So now it's time to replace it all! We got a HUGE shipment from Auto Metal Direct filled with new repop body panels, a roof skin, and even new doors that all have to go on what's left of our classic GMC truck. And while we're patching up all these hole with new metal, we're also filling in the gap between our cab and the windshield so this step side can have some sleek flush mounted glass keeping the wind out of our faces as we rip down the road!
With all this work happening on the outside of this truck, it's only fair that we give the inside some attention as well. So next week, we're going to be focusing on smoothing out the factory dash to not only make it look sleek, but to make room for a large digital display, replacing our gauges.
