‘’Célibataire’’ is a song by Mr. Spoks Man, produced by Amir Pro in Ikoh Multi Services, a studio currently based in Bujumbura. The Video was shot in Nairobi-kenya with Black Arthur & Zengez entertainment as directed by Deba Pro (Producer).

Who is Spoks Man?

Eric Dushimirima, better known by his stage name Spokesman is a Burundian singer/songwriter. His music career began five years ago. This talented young man has been struggling to please his fans in spite of some hitches on his way. His most successful single “Burundi” has topped the charts and was previously nominated for the IsanganiroAward (5th edition).



Spokesman has also won a “New Best Artist” trophy in 2014 in “Top Ten Music Awards”, organized by Radio Bonesha FM.

In his song “Célibataire”, meaning single/bachelor in English, Spokesman is speaking for a single man who still has not been ready for marriage due to lack of means. Desperate, He’s now thinking of having a child out of marriage. This would at least make him feel he has achieved the most important part of his dream ‘’to get married”. For him, being a father really sounds like bringing luck and happiness in life.

In short, living as a bachelor will not make someone happier at all, besides loneliness has never been good for everyone. It’s like being by yourself, which is much depressing for sure. The single man in the song ‘Célibataire’’ is determined to grow old and die with at least a child. According to the same guy, getting married is not everyone’s cup tea, the only way out is to have a child.

The song is a collaboration of B-Face (a Burundian rapper) and Spoks Man.
