The Mr. & Ms. Samba Youth Empowerment Pageant is an annual Youth Program Leadership incubation and mentorship that aims at mapping out, vetting and unearthing Young passionate grassroots champions of change, who relentlessly tried to address juvenile crime, drugs & Substance abuse, teenage pregnancy & SGBV, as well as addressing Climate Change and environmental degradation in their own small way.
The Youth Empowerment Pageant Commits to advance and scale up their coverage, strategies and impact.
Through a 40-day residential training boot camp, weekly Community service events and weekly exposure visits for 6 continuous weeks, SambaSports Youth Trust and partners transform these youngsters into eloquently skilled, and tooled changemakers, ready to enhance their community initiatives from grassroots programs to Ward level and subcounty level transformative initiatives.
The boot Camp is symbolic of a National Youth Service, and we call their growing community service programs as baby "SambaSports Empowerment" programs.
