Prof Dr Ishtiaq Ahmed critiques Pakistani leading journalist and intellectul Wajahat Masood's thesis that since Jinnah wanted the whole of Punjab and Bengal in Pakistan he was not wanting to create an Islamic Pakistan but a secular democratic Pakistan for all.
This thesis is flawed factually and logically and there is no point seeking support in Jinnah's politics for creating a secular Pakistan, Dr Ahmed argues.
