Floating Islands of Lake Titicaca, Uros Islands, Peru

The floating islands of Uros, are man made islands, built from reeds that grow in Lake Titicaca (Titikaka). The Uros people, live on these islands, and have for 500 years.

The originally built them, to avoid caputre from the Inca Empire, and they now have their own unique culture and language.

I'm riding my Honda CRF250L Rally on a tour of South America. I have ridden from the top of the content to the very bottom. Riding the PanAmerican highway and beyond sharing the experience of motorcycle travel, and what I see along the way.

I am a motovlogger out of Portland, OR who does scenic rides and vlogs about the ride and the places I visit. I do motorcycle trips, adventure riding and moto travel along with day rides to scenic and memorable destinations on some of the best motorcycle roads in the world.
