Believe in yourself even when you are told you are not good enough .
Amani studied Computer Science and worked as an art director for years. Later on she worked as a journalist in a youth magazine which got her in touch with the social of her colleagues. Eventually her interests in the status of young women in Egypt and n the Middle East increased and started to look for channels for wider conversations with them on how to be successful planning for the future beyond marriage. She then decided to take a loan and start her own radio station “Banat we bass “ – ( Girls Only Radio station) which is the first online radio station in the Middle East for girls only. She also founded a publishing house “Shabab books to publish books for young writers who were unable to get a chance to publish their books. Usually such books tell stories about the Middle East and approach social taboos and social issues. Amani’s latest project is a best-selling book entitled A girl's Wishes From Tahrir Square. Amani was also awarded the BMW Young Leader world award 2010.
