aoi asahina is a central character in danganronpa: trigger happy havoc. she attends hopes peak academy as the ultimate swimming pro. aoi was always an extremely sporty person who loved to exercise, and participated in many team sports during her school career, including track, basketball, softball, volleyball, tennis, and her favorite sport: competitive swimming. since elementary school, she broke records in every swimming contest she entered, and was chosen to become an olympic cadet. her younger brother yuta was also a competitive and talented swimmer, but not - by his own admission - as talented as aoi. she is the best friend of sakura ogami, the ultimate martial artist.

benoit blanc is a central character in knives out and its sequel, glass onion: a knives out mystery. played by james bond actor daniel craig, blanc is a private investigator who is often heralded as being the world's greatest detective. blanc is considered to be the last of the gentleman sleuths. he is flamboyant, pracical, gentlemanly, somewhat eccentric, but also incredibly clever, intelligent, and overall a good detective. blanc also speaks like a member of the southern aristocracy with an accent that has been described as a kentucky fried foghorn leghorn drawl. he has a tendency to use phrases and words that not many people understand, but also often employs the use of metaphors during his cases, such as likening the case of harlan thrombey's death to a donut.
