How Social Media Is Destroying Our Sense of Normalcy

I am so over social media and the idea of "aesthetic" in today's digital culture. Is social media ruining our idea of normalcy? Yes. Is social media hurting our mental health? Absolutely. The lifestyles people portray online is honestly unrealistic and unattainable for most. We need more examples of normalcy on the internet. Yes, normalcy is relative. However, the vast majority of us don't live the same lives as those we see online.

which leaves us feeling like garbage, sucked into the comparison trap and ultimately losing our ability to feel gratitude and thankful for what we DO have.

Let's talk about it.
