From the album Strangers in the night from 1966 and this was his second number 1 hit in the USA.
Written by Bert Kaempfhert, Charles Singleton and Eddie Snyder. the Jazz pianist Avo Uvezian claimed that he wrote the song for Sinatra and the french composer Michel Phillippe-Gerard claimed that the melody of Strangers in the Night was based on his song Magic Tango. Also the singer Ivo Robic claimed that the song was based on his Stanci u Noci.

Frank Sinatra thought the song was a piece of shit but he recieved 3 grammy awards for the song. Record of the year, Best Male Pop Vocal Performance and Best Instumental Arrangement Acocompanying Vocalist
