S5🌎Ep50 | Cold, Wet, But WOW! Riding Across Colombia by motorcycle 🇨🇴

Today Cherry (my trusty KTM 390 Adventure) and I leave Mocoa, Colombia, and ride towards the stunning Tatacoa Desert. It’s a long 350 km day through South Colombia across cloud forests and cold mountain passes towards the desert heat.

Along the way, I face heavy rain, road construction, and multiple fuel hunts, but also witness breathtaking canyon views, the mighty Magdalena River, and incredible Colombian hospitality.

If you love motorcycle adventure travel, solo riding stories, and real on-the-road challenges, you’ll feel every moment of this ride — the cold, the exhaustion, the joy of hot coffee, and the magic of reaching the edge of one of Colombia’s most unique landscapes.

Highlights include:
🛣️ Surviving rain and cold with grip heaters and coffee
🤩 Magic overgrown roads and viewpoints along Magdalena river
🫶 Meeting Fanny, my incredible host, who offered me to stay at her house when I found my hotel closed
