1000m Erg Test | Season’s Best

The next round of rowing machine testing is here—and this one’s big! I take on the 1000m row, 250m sprint, and 7-stroke max power test to see if I can beat my results from January. The goal? Set a new season’s best and record my fastest 1K row in years.

I’ll be honest—heading into this, I wasn’t feeling confident. Training had picked up over the past couple of weeks, but the last time I was meant to do this testing, I got ill and had to miss it. That knocked my confidence, and on test day, I really didn’t know if I had the speed or power to perform. Sometimes, you just have to show up and see what’s there…
