Smart Dustbin Using Ultrasonic Sensor | Automatic Dustbin Project | Arduino UNO

In this video, we demonstrate a Smart Dustbin using an Ultrasonic Sensor that automatically opens its lid when a hand or object comes near the dustbin. This project helps maintain hygiene by avoiding physical contact and is perfect for school students, science exhibitions, and STEM robotics learning.
🔧 Components Used:
• Ultrasonic Sensor (HC-SR04)

⚙️ Working Principle:
The ultrasonic sensor measures the distance of an object using sound waves. When the hand comes within a preset range, Arduino triggers the servo motor to open the dustbin lid automatically and closes it after a few seconds.
