⭐️ Knitted Slipper Socks Red Heart Yarns Knitting Pattern Part 2 of 3

These slipper socks make a great gift. The pattern is free from RedHeart.com and uses a worsted weight yarn called 'With Love Metallic'. Marly Bird shows you how to knit the slipper socks using Double Pointed Needles with her tried and true sock making magic (have you seen her No Cuss Cast On?).

Marly has broken this pattern into a 3 part series so you are able to knit along with her as she makes her own pair of socks. In order to make these videos as user friendly and perfect for all skill levels, Marly has not spead through much of the knitting. So you can literally knit along with her for a majority of the sections.

Of course there will be times when you are supposed to continue working in the pattern until a certain row but by that point you will be confident in your skills. So, what are you waiting for? Come join us as we go through sock knitting project step by step together.

Note: this pattern is listed as intermediate but if you are an advanced beginner Marly thinks you should definately give this a try!

Second Note: Since filming this video the pattern has been updated for row 2 of the heel flap. In the video I tell you to do knits when you should actually do purls (I make a note in the video as well as comment on the fact that doing knits on the wrong side will leave a bump but I followed along with the pattern as it was written at that time). All of that is to say, when you get to row 2 of the heel flap, you should work purl stitches instead of knits.

It is not the end of the world if you do knits but know that you will have a purl bump on the RS of the sock...just like my sample :-)
