Why are some books in the Bible, but not other books? Who decided which books should be in the Bible? Are there “lost books” which were removed from the Bible? What about the “Apocrypha”? Christians are used to seeing 66 books in their Bibles. However, not many Christians know why those books are there. Because of this, it is easy for enemies of the Bible to challenge the validity of these 66 books, and even claim that there should be more books in the Bible.
In this talk, Asher clarifies what scripture is, and defends the 39 books of the Protestant Old Testament Canon. Let us make sure that we can be confident in the word of God in the Scriptures!
