കഴിഞ്ഞ ജന്മത്തില്‍ ഞാന്‍ ചന്ദ്രഗ്രഹ രാജാവിന്റെ മന്ത്രിയായിരുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് ഈ ജന്മത്തിലും കിരീടം വയ്ക്കുമെന്ന് ജ്യോത്സ്യന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. അതുപോലെ സംഭവിച്ചു. രാജാവ് എന്റെ തലവെട്ടി അച്ചന്‍കോവിലാറില്‍ എറിഞ്ഞു. അതില്‍ മനം നൊന്ത് എന്നെ പ്രേമിച്ചിരുന്ന പെണ്‍കുട്ടി ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്തു. അവള്‍ ഈ ജന്മത്തില്‍ പുനര്‍ജനിച്ച് എന്റെ ഭാര്യയാകുമെന്നും ജ്യോത്സ്യന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. അവളുടെ പേര് പ്രകാശത്തിന്റെ പര്യായമായിരിക്കുമെന്നും പറഞ്ഞു. അഞ്ച് വര്‍ഷത്തിന് ശേഷം ഞാന്‍ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ച പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയുടെ പേര് എലിസബത്ത് എന്നായിരുന്നെങ്കിലും അവളെ വീട്ടില്‍ വിളിക്കുന്ന പേര് പ്രഭ എന്നായിരുന്നു.
