Netherlands Many Churches Have Become Mosques. Along with the development of the times and fast and open information, now many European people, especially the Netherlands, are aware of the truth of Islam, so it's no wonder that now in the Netherlands many people are converting to Islam in droves. As a result in the Netherlands many churches have become mosques.
Islam is one of the various religions in the Netherlands. Muslims in the Netherlands number about one million people. Most of them are descendants of immigrants. The largest number of Muslims there are of Turkish descent, followed by Morocco, then Tunisia, Algeria and Suriname.
According to one record, in the mid-19th century there were only three religions (denominations) embraced by Dutch citizens, namely Protestantism, Calvinism and Catholicism. In the early 2000s, a shift occurred. In addition to the three denominations above that are still adhered to by the Dutch, there are 40 percent of Dutch people who say they are not affiliated with any religion and 5 percent of the total Dutch population are Muslims.
Now the situation in the Netherlands has completely changed, many churches have closed and their congregations have left, on the other hand the mosques are full and many churches have turned into mosques.
