I played on an Xbox controller and it took me about 4 hours of grinding with 13 hours total playtime in DiRT Rally 2 (granted I play alot of racing games) I definitely could go a 10 or so seconds faster at least as I made a few small mistakes and one pretty large one at 5:43 However I still got the achievement so I am satisfied.
