In this video I play the guitar solo from “Poles Apart” by Pink Floyd, using my trusty Black Strat and a custom Fractal FM3 preset created just for this tribute.
It’s a live in-studio performance: no playback, no re-amping – just guitar, in the moment.
After the solo, I walk you through the FM3 preset to show how I tried to recreate that singing David Gilmour tone.
I’m an independent guitarist and composer, heavily inspired by Pink Floyd, David Gilmour and modern prog rock.
