The 2007 Seaswirl Striper 2601 Walkaround was built with the fisherman in mind while still managing to include classic comforts both above and below to make this a great boat for anyone. This boat hadn't been detailed in over two years requiring both a compound and polish on the hull and house and a simple cleaner wax on the inside smooth gelcoat sections. Overall a fair amount of oxidation was removed and shine was restored with great success ensuring extra protection for the coming winter elements combined with scheduled washdowns before the boat is pulled out of the water for maintenance. We appreciate owners that understand the major benefit proper care for new boats and how important maintaining proper gelcoat can be.
How long until I should wax my boat next? These owners like to keep the boat maintained for the summer season and usually have the boat waxed and polished before and after the season is over to remove any oxidation or hard water spots, leaving a fresh coat of wax to help insulate it during storage. The white vinyl seats on the interior do require a little work to maintain color and stay supple. During the season we recommend the use of a vinyl moisturizer after each trip such as 3M Marine Vinyl cleaner/Conditioner/Protector loaded with sun inhibitors and PTEF to prolong the condition of your vinyl or an easy ceramic application.
