In 2014, The Challenge was sitting at a crossroads. Many of its well established stars from MTV's Real World & Road Rules were getting older and moving on to other aspirations. With The Challenge in need of new champs, personalities and a bit of a rebranding - The Challenge was heading in a bit of an unknown direction.
The Challenge season 25; Free Agents helped set the show up as a new bench mark and 10+ years later it still is upheld and revered as one of, if not the best The Challenge season. How? Why? In this video I go through the context of The Challenge history, how they got to a point of doing Free Agents, how it was received, ratings, cast and much, much more.
