Shincliffe

Join me on this walk, an amalgamation of all 5 suggested walks within the "Shincliffe Walks" pamphlet produced by Shincliffe Parish Council. A lush trek around Shincliffe parish. Visiting spots along the river Wear, weaving through farm lands and crossing burns and disused train tracks. Very muddy and well trodden, so makes sure to wear appropriate footwear. At times it's not the best marked, even with local maps, a few visitors got a tad lost and asked us for help with directions. However, plenty of locals are around to point you the way, just make sure to take one of those pamphlets with you. There are pubs around High Shincliffe and Shincliffe Village.
