In this meditation practice, we use the instructions by Jesus in introduction in Review II from the workbook from A Course in Miracles to practice the meditation "I am the Light of the World" and "Forgiveness is my function as the light of the World".
In His instructions, He asks us to read the phases slowly and then think about the ideas and comments presented. We do this as a group for 5 minutes. Then he asks us to close our eyes and LISTEN.
We then give over 15 minutes to "Listening quietly but attentively". He says "There is a message waiting for you. Be confident that you will receive it. Remember that it belongs to you and that YOU WANT IT."
In this session, we do both review lessons and so we do two periods of 15 minutes of listening quietly but attentively.
Our group members shared with me that they received many beautiful messages and experienced beautiful peace during this "listening" time.
If you find it helpful, simply say "Lord, Here I am" and listen.
Our group will do this same meditation each week until we have finished the review lessons, but only this first week was recorded for helping to get into habit of "Listening quietly but attentively" as you go through these review lessons yourself at home.
