Hey guys! Making your own reusable menstrual pads is actually super simple, and totally worthwhile.

This pattern includes 3 different size pads, and gives suggestions on the type and number of layers of fabric to use depending on how absorbent you want your pads to be (light/medium/heavy flow). Try it out - I hope it helps!
For the waterproof layer I used Babyville PUL (polyurethane laminate) fabric, which is often used when making cloth diapers. However there are several kinds of waterproof / water-resistant fabrics that you can choose from.
I used cotton flannel for the body-touching layer, but you can also use jersey cotton or t-shirt fabric.
It's best to wash your fabric before beginning this project to avoid your pads shrinking after everything's already sewn.
