Driving in the Netherlands and Germany: A79, A76 & Autobahn A4 E314 from Maastricht to Aachen

In this video you can drive along on snelwegen A79 & A76 (E314) and Autobahn A4 from Maastricht in the Netherlands to Aachen in Germany. Starting in the Netherlands' Southern most city Maastricht, this is as 'mountainous' as it gets in the country.
The hills in the South of the Limburg province are a rare sight for the Netherlands, so this is quite an interesting road to drive from that perspective. The city of Heerlen is a bit of a peculiar place, it's quite big and somewhat connected to a few of the other larger cities in the area like Kerkrade and Landgraaf. This also explains the relative density of highways here.
From Heerlen it's only a short distance on the A76 to the border with Germany and the A4 Autobahn. The city of Aachen, with about 250.000 inhabitants, is situated right on the border with the Netherlands.
