Isak & Even | Can we surrender?

So, I watched SKAM.

You know that saying right? "Even the mighty shall fall."

To be quite honest I started the show purely because I was bored, but before long I was already obsessed with it--and that coming from me is saying something because I don't really like real life dramas.

I'm my opinion the appeal was so big because SKAM covers more important issues in 3 short seasons than a bunch of US shows ever could in their infinite, 40 minute/23 episodes ones.

The relationships are beautiful (a big YAY for girl supporting girls) and the characters are amazing. None of them are perfect and all of them have said something bad once or twice (or more times, because they are human beings and we say shit all the time is it not true?), and it's such an educating thing because we have these other characters calling them out for it, bringing up important things that should be on television more...

I didn't think I'd like it quite this much. But I guess the romantic in me just couldn't help falling in love with another main part of the whole thing for me: RELATIONSHIPS.

The relationships on this show are portrayed in such a realistic manner I just ajdsajslkdsadlsaklf

Let it be knows that 5 minutes of various shots with my OTP lying in bed, talking about parallel universes is ALL I'VE EVER WANTED from every show that I watch xD Skam gave it to me.

I love every and each of the main relationships on the show, but since this video is about Evak let's just talk about them.

This description is huge as it is and I don't wanna write an essay about why their relationship is beautiful and why it's important, but I just have to say they were incredible. Amazing portrayal, amazing story, amazing way of dealing with Isak's ableism and internalised homophobia, having him grow as a character and into their relationship...Amazing way of showing Even's bipolarity, his manic episode was so heart-breaking but also so real and well thought out. Gosh. I'm hdsaodsadhsa, this show is truly something.

I'd like to dedicate this to Lu since I couldn't finish a video for her birthday. I hope you like this Lu, I know how much you love these two beans! Happy belated birthday I guess? haha. ILY Angel! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
