Tamiya Blackfoot | The beginning of a RC passion (addiction!)

In this video I am traveling back 30 some odd years back to my youth and the golden era of RC cars. The Tamiya Blackfoot was my first hobby grade RC vehicle and I had had the bug ever since. I have gone away from it from time to time over the years but I have always come back and still to this day I love building and driving RC cars and trucks. This truck is what started it all and will always have the most sentimental value of any of them as a young kid fell in love with the hobby and has been tinkering in it ever since. I hope you enjoy the quick trip down memory lane for me and maybe you have a similar story from another car or trunk, please share in the comments.
Although it won’t win any major races and won’t climb mountains or do awesome backflips, it is still a blast to drive and a pleasure to build.
