Unbelievable what happened today. The Spark Lake fire became so intense that it's smoke broke through the cap and became a full fledged SEVERE thunderstorm. This storm broke it open and many others erupted through the central and northern parts of the province. Storms are still raging in northern BC tonight and we will have no idea what the fire situation is truly like until sometime tomorrow afternoon. This was one helluva crazy weather day.
Thank you Raymond Ford for getting this footage!! I hope the attack on that fire has gone well and that your home will be safe in all of this. I know our friends in Lytton were no so fortunate today. Our solidarity and sorrow is with everyone tonight.
