My first time trying to fit a carpet, what could go wrong?

On the summer holidays from work, so no repairs to do. So getting a little home renovations done. Spent yesterday painting out bedroom, May as well finished the job and change the carpet also.
Last minute decision to change the carpet, so no time to get a fitter in, so having to do it myself.
A furniture shop Bredins Furniture is only 5min up the road, so was able to get a new carpet we wanted cut to size, along with underlay and adhesive and picked up right away..
To fit the carpet, the main tool you need is a carpet kicker. No need to buy one for 1 job. I just rented this one from my local hire shop moville tool hire.
Luckily was was able to make it out with buying any more machine. As they stock @Stihl @husqvarna @kressinternational3053 and @Egopowerplus also. It's were I buy all me small engine tools.
Fitting is straight forward when it's only a plain bedroom like this. Hardest part is lifting the new carpet up the stairs.
Turned out well for a first time, nice to get the room finished from top to bottom. And only cost 600 euro for everything including, paint, carpet, tools ect.
