Although we were sitting in the back row at Anita’s Theatre, Thirroul we were swept up in the magic of Leo Sayer. At 77, his boundless energy lit up the sold-out theatre from the very first note to the final encore.
Backed by Bill Risby (keyboards), Paul Berton (guitar), Mitch Cairns (bass), Adrian Violi (drums), and vocalists Liz Violi and Olivia Nathan, Leo delivered hit after hit, sprinkled with stories, laughter, and pure joy.

Earlier, across the road at Beaches Hotel, there were long tall glasses everywhere as Leo and the band enjoyed a classic pub meal before hitting the stage, much to the delight of patrons and fans.
A fantastic night of great music, great company, and a performer who proves that age is no match for true showmanship!
