It’s #DIYFriday with another tumbling block/jenga block craft! We are making a mirror frame that can easily be customized with different paint and string colors. Grab some blocks and lets get to crafting!

Supplies:
176 tumbling blocks = 6 boxes of 35 (in store purchase) or 3 boxes of 75 (purchased online)
Mirror
Wood glue (used to glue the solid black blocks together but you can use the glue gun as well)
Hot glue gun
Super glue(used here gorilla glue clear contact adhesive)
Black acrylic paint
3mm Macrame cord
Scissors

Follow along plus tips:
You’ll be making three different designs.

1st design is with the solid black blocks. Glue together 6 different columns with 10 blocks in each.
Block total= 60

2nd design is with the black blocks and macrame cord. Glue together 6 columns with 12 blocks in each. The pattern goes: fringe first then glue fringe (11-13 pieces) on the block. So fringe, block, fringe, block until you have 12 blocks.
Block total= 72

2rd design is exactly like the 2nd but you’ll add 3 blocks to it. 1 block attach to the fringe side the other 2 blocks on the opposite side. You’ll make 2 columns like this. One piece will be glued to the top middle part of the frame and the other will be glued onto the middle of the bottom of the frame.
Block total= 30

Lastly you’ll glue 2 columns for the right and left corners of the frame. It’s the same pattern as design 2 but smaller. You’ll glue together 7 blocks per column.
Block total= 14
